Assistant Records Manager

The Library, Art & Archives department is responsible for organising and managing one of the world’s most comprehensive collections of botanical literature, art and Kew’s own archives and modern records, which form an unparalleled resource for a large and increasingly diverse global user community.
Joining our Collections & Services Team and reporting to the Archivist and Records Manager, this role is required to deliver RBG Kew’s mission by implementing improvements to the records management procedure and practice across the whole institution. This will be achieved through working with our other Assistant Records Manager to develop a file plan and retention schedule.
HOURS OF WORK: full time (36 hours per week net)
JOB STATUS: Casual contract until March 2015
