The post holder will be responsible for the full life cycle management of package software implementations.

Reporting into the Head of Technology Solutions while working closely with the CRM Programme Manager and the CRM Manager to deliver CRM across Marketing, Membership, Events, Website, eShop, Ticketing, Finance and Fundraising.

The successful candidate will be a strong leader with substantial experience of planning and scheduling complex projects, also able to consult and involve stakeholders whilst delivering the agreed solutions on time and on budget.

Location: South Kensington
Hours: 41 hours including lunch breaks

2. Role Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to deliver a CRM system for the museum. The post holder will report to the Head of Technology Solutions and work closely with the CRM Programme Manager and the CRM Manager to deliver CRM across Marketing, Membership, Events, Website, eShop, Ticketing, Finance and Fundraising. This is a complex project with numerous integrations and a large number of stakeholders. You may be required to work on other technology led projects if time permits.

The Digital Project Manager will be responsible for managing a number of work streams and ensuring delivery on time and on budget. The post holder will be responsible for the full life cycle management of package software implementations.

You will be a strong leader, able to consult and involve stakeholder whilst delivering the agreed solutions. Managing numerous requirements and delivering the data management strategy.

The Museum has appointed a technology partner to implement the solution and has a QA consultant to assist. It is also likely that we will have the advice of industry experts and practitioners to advice and guide our decisions, minimise risk and manage the technology partners.

Experience of planning and scheduling complex projects, managing budgets and resources is essential as is as well as excellent communications skills.

3. Role Competences (requirements)

Applicants must demonstrate evidence of the detailed competence outlined below to be considered for the post. Please address each competence in the 'Other Information' section in the online form.

1. Recognised project management accreditation or equivalent experience

2. Substantial project management experience, managing large projects with budges in excess of £250,000

3. Substantial experience of process centric package software implementations into commercial environments in areas such as; public facing web, emarketing, customer payments systems, customer management systems, membership and donations

4. Substantial experience of management complex projects

5. Demonstrate in depth experience of managing diverse stakeholder needs with a collaborative approach

6. Excellent communication skills with demonstrable experience of managing expectations and influencing up to director level

7. Substantial experience of working with external suppliers

8. Substantial experience of leading and managing large projects teams

9. Knowledge of Business Analysis, Policy and Process, Solution Definition, Data Cleansing, Testing and Business Change

10. Experience of formal project management techniques and documentation

11. Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM would be desirable

12. Proven issues and risk management

4. Main tasks and responsibilities (job description)

- Deliver the suite of CRM projects outlined

- Be responsible for the full-lifecycle project management ensuring effective delivery within time, quality and budget constraints

- Define the project schedule milestone, scope and deliverables

- Coordinate and manage internal and external multi-functional projects team

- Maintain effective relationships with Project Sponsors and Stakeholders

- Ensure that a strong project governance structure is in place

- Produce and maintain accurate project documentation. Key project management products include Project Initiation Document (PID, Communication, Change and RAID)

- Proactively managing risk and issues to mitigate impact on the delivery of the project

- Set and manage project budgets and internal resources with appropriate input from all budget holders

- Track project progress and deliver timely project reporting

- Provide guidance and share good practice within the team and across the business

- Day to day management of the CRM Implementation Partner

- Communicate and update all stakeholders and secondary stakeholders

- Work closely with the CRM Manager and CRM Programme Manager
