The Cleveland Museum of Natural History invites applications for a one-year postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Paleobotany and Paleoecology under the supervision of Dr. Denise Su, Curator of Paleobotany and Paleoecology.

The fellow will be responsible for dietary reconstructions of the fauna from a late Miocene site in China and should have research experience in techniques for dietary reconstructions, such as microwear and/or mesowear.

Preference will be given to candidates whose record shows knowledge of Asian Cenozoic faunas.

The fellow will be expected to participate in fieldwork; thus, travel to China will be necessary for at least one month during the postdoctoral fellowship.

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Paleontology, Anthropology, Geology, Biology or a related field.
