Assistant Curator for Imaging and Digitization
The Department of Biology at Indiana University invites applications for a full-time Assistant Curator for Imaging and Digitization in the IU Herbarium. We seek a motivated individual to barcode, photograph, and create database entries for the 150,000 specimens in our collection and to help manage the data portal. BA or BS in Biology or related field required, a graduate degree in botany (or similar) is preferred. The appointment will be for up to three years pending satisfactory evaluation, with a preferred start date of September 1, 2016. Expected salary is $47,500.
