Faculty VI - Institute of Applied Geoinformation Sciences / Applied Geochemistry
Reference number: VI-567/19 (starting at the earliest possible / permanent / closing date for applications 04/10/19)
Working field: Scientific and organizational supervision and conceptual development of the mineralogical collection; digitalization of the collection; independent teaching; technical information and advisory services on the collection; public relation; content-related and technical maintenance as well as extension of the exhibition service; continuation and development of research cooperation; acquisition of third-party funds for collection-related research.
Requirements:
- Successfully completed university dregree (Master, Diplom or equivalent) and doctorate in the field of geosciences, ideally in the area of mineralogy
- Minimum three years of scientific or professional practical work in a regular full-time academic or industrial position
Necessary:
- Profound expertise in the fields of mineralogy, crystallography, petrology, geology or equivalent
- Experience with exhibitions
Desired:
- Teaching experience
- Experience with public relations
- Experience in acquisition of third-party funds such as DFG-Sachbeihilfe
- Publication experience
- Good command of English
- Very good command of German
