Head of Plant and Earth Sciences

We are seeking an experienced researcher to lead the Plant and Earth Sciences team within the Natural Sciences Department at Amgueddfa Cymru. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to use our collections to drive forward new approaches in public engagement and research with diverse audiences.

You'll lead a team of curators and collection managers and develop funding bids aligned with our 2030 Strategy. You will play a leading role in projects addressing global biodiversity and environmental challenges using our unique collections.

The ideal candidate will have:

· PhD or equivalent experience in plant sciences or ecology

· Proven track record in securing research funding

· Experience managing botany collections and teams

· Strong interdisciplinary project delivery skills
