As climate change progresses, the distributions and activities of many insect species are changing, in particular those that live out of doors. Trogoderma glabrum occurs widely across continental Europe Here we report on the occurrence of T. glabrum in Austrian museums and consider how to identify the species. It is ompared with Anthrenocerus australis, a common pest in some historic houses and museums, and a species that resembles T. glabrum both in terms of size and colouration.
