Registration is now open for the NatSCA Conference & AGM 2018 at Leeds City Museum on the 26th and 27th of April.
This year's conference theme is "The museum ecosystem: exploring how different subject specialisms can work closer together".
This day concentrates on the opportunities and pitfalls you might consider when mounting a museum exhibition. We hope to provide you with plenty of case studies and advice on how to successfully display collections.
Whilst the day has natural science collections in mind, it should be of use to anyone considering putting on an object display, whatever the theme.
At members' request NatSCA is re-running its popular Natural Science Collections and the Law Seminar.
Not sure what the Nagoya protocol is? Don't know what to do when someone offers you a collection of bird eggs? Wanting to charge for exhibitions or use your collections commercially but not sure where CITES restrictions apply? Then this seminar is for you.
